The Wauseon Chamber of Commerce became incorporated by the State of Ohio on October 30, 1956 then chartered as a non-profit organization under the laws of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber serves Wauseon and surrounding communities in Fulton, Henry, Defiance and Lucas counties. The mission of the Wauseon Chamber of Commerce is to promote economic growth and business development in the Wauseon area by providing “meaningful services for its membership" and helping to sustain a high quality of life within the community. The Wauseon Chamber of Commerce offers a chance to make a difference by joining with other members to improve the quality of life and the economic vitality of the community.

 

The  Wauseon Chamber keeps members informed through meetings, website, facebook, news releases and special events. The Wauseon Chamber provides publicity and exposure for those who play an active role with the Chamber for themselves and for their business.

 

The Wauseon Chamber encourages business contacts, a major reason that many people get active with the Chamber so they get to meet and network with other business people.  The Wauseon Chamber of Commerce  also promotes and works to keep money circulating at home, turning it over within our community.

 

The Wauseon Chamber is the voice of the business community to local government, and on the state and national level. It is constantly working to develop a better climate for doing business. The Chamber maintains a data base with statistics and information of all types, and when a member needs help, we try to do our part.

 

The Wauseon Chamber receives many requests for goods and services each month refers these to Chamber members. Our Chamber is a voluntary organization of citizens who are investing their time and money in community development programs. The Chamber is people working together to improve the economic, civic and cultural interests of the City of Wauseon and the greater Fulton County area.
