National Threshers Convention

The annual Threshers Convention is always the last full weekend in June. Located at the Fulton County Fairgrounds, the show is four days long, Thursday through Sunday. There are typically 40 to 50 full-size steam traction engines at each show, plus scale models. With few exceptions, nearly all of the machinery exhibited at the annual NTA reunion is in working condition. You'll see steam engines working a prony brake horsepower testing, Baker fans, sawmill, shingle mill, running a thresher and hay press, pulling transfer sleds, threshing and running frequently throughout the exhibit area. In addition to the steam powered vehicles, there are hundreds of gas tractors each year. This includes a wide range of makes, models and years.
