The Crop Hunger Walk 2014 date will be October 12th this year. Anyone in the community can participate in this downtown event sponsored by the Wauseon Congregational United Church of Christ. Member Churches from of the Wauseon Ministerial Association are also supporting this annual event.

 

The walk will begin at 2:00 pm at the Congregational Church. A short and longer walking route will be well marked. Registration for the walk will begin at 1:30pm.

 

Twenty Five % of every dollar raised will be contributed to our local FISH Food Pantry.  The rest of the money raised will be used to fight international hunger by supporting educational programs to support farming projects and  water projects around the world. Interested individuals or community groups may obtain registration packets to raise funds by calling 419 335 5571. An anwering machine will take your information. Kevin Smith, Moderator of the church, is coordinating the event.
