Wauseon Christmas Parade 2013

On November 30th at 7:00 pm familes and friends from Wauseon will line the downtown streets for the annual Wauseon Christmas Parade.

Each year, the Wauseon Downtown Association sponsors this spectacular event. The lighted parade begins at the Fulton County Courthouse and passes along Fulton Street though the historic downtown district to Oak Street. After briefly heading west on West elm Street, the parade heads south on Clinton Street past the Municipal Building to Depot Street.

In the past years, thousands of parade goers have enjoyed the bands and floats as well as the appearance of Santa Claus.  The annual  event culminates with singing, cookies and hot chocolate at the Depot. After the parade, Santa will visit the children and parents of Wauseon at the Depot building.

This year the Parade Marshals wil ride in a horse drawn wagon. The beautiful and colorful christmas lights, a beloved fixture of this evening parade will again make this parade a wonderful kick-off ot the holiday season.
