The Wauseon Homecoming Kiddie Parade To Feature Comic Book Characters This Year

Looking forward to some family fun? Join the 2015 Wauseon Homecoming Kiddie Parade! This year's parade will be on Thursday evening, July 30th. Parents can register Kids entries online at the wauseonhomecoming.com site. Select the Kiddie Parade Icon. The Wauseon Homecoming Kiddie Parade will feature comic book characters this year.

We are so excited for the Wauseon Homecoming July 30th, 31st, and Aug 1st! Help kick of this event starting with the Kiddie Parade on July 30th at 6pm in front of the court house. Come out and be a part of the tradition. Dress up as your favorite cartoon character and join the Snow Queen and American Hero presented by Laurel's Princess Parties as we head down Fulton St to begin the 81st annual Wauseon Homecoming! Hop on the train, decorate your bike, or bring out your power wheels and lets make a Kiddie Parade like Wauseon has never seen before! Stay after the parade, because we have so many fun things planned for 2015! Get your FREE ticket to the Kids Zone by signing up for the Kids Parade early and join us at the Wauseon Farmers' Market on July 25 for decorating tips and materials!

Here is a list of some ideas that might spark some creativity in our Kids: The Minions, Buggs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Yosemite Sam ,The Roadrunner, and Wiley Cayote, The Tazmanian Devil, The Flinstones, The Jetsons, George of the Jungle, Tom and Jerry, Rockey and Bullwinkle, Yogi Bear and Boo Boo, Chip and Dale, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, Huckleberry Hound, The Pink Panther, Dudley Do-Right of the Mounties, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Peanuts, The Simpsons, and all of the Marvel Comic and DC Comic super heroes, Disney princesses, Winnie the Pooh Characters, and Veggie Tale characters.

Kids can decorate bicycles and pets. Some kids may build small floats on wheelbarrows or wagons. Lots of room for creativity with this theme! Line-up for the parade begins at 5:00 pm on Chestnut Street by the Fulton County Courthouse. The Kiddie Parade will start at 6:00 pm and travels down the midway on Fulton Street to the Kidz Zone.
