Wauseon Farmers' Market Salsa Challenge Re-scheduled For This Saturday 10/10

Due to the cold wet and blustery weather last Saturday, The Wauseon Farmers' Market has been rescheduled. The 2015 Salsa Challenge will now be this Saturday, October, 10th. The Salsa Challenge will include entries in the following categories: Hot, Mild, Sweet, and Original. Entrants may participate in all of the categories. A one quart sample must be provided at Farmers' Market Welcoming Booth. Registration begins at 9:00 am. Tasting will begin at 10:00 am and last through 12:00 am. Visitors to the market may vote for the salsa of choice by buying tokens at the Welcome Booth. Funds raised by the Salsa Challenge will be donated to the Wauseon FISH Pantry. Canned goods will also be accepted for voting tokens at the Welcoming Booth. Plaques will be awarded for People's Choice and Judges Choice in each to the four competition categories. Saturday, October 10th will be the final day for the 2015 Wauseon Farmers' Market. Please stop by to enjoy this final day, shopping and visiting with the local vendors and our friends and guests of the Wauseon community.
